Recognizing that young people are key drivers of change, TAF actively engages youth through sports—particularly football—as a powerful platform for mentorship, leadership, and climate action. Through the Green Football League, the Foundation harnesses the universal appeal of the game to mobilize students, community youth, and tertiary institution learners to become champions of environmental conservation.

Every match serves a greater purpose than competition. It becomes an opportunity to plant trees, conduct environmental clean-up campaigns, promote proper waste management, and educate young people on critical issues such as climate change, environmental responsibility, and the dangers of drug and substance abuse. By integrating sports with environmental education and life skills, the Green Football League nurtures disciplined, responsible, and environmentally conscious young leaders.
