In one such milestone initiative, TAF joined hands with Dovizia, an innovative company championing sustainable bamboo-based products, to conduct a tree planting exercise at Machakos Teachers Training College, one of Kenya's leading value-based teacher training institutions.

Through the production of bamboo kitchen towels, bamboo tissue papers, and bamboo facial tissues, the company has embraced bamboo—a fast-growing, renewable grass—as an alternative raw material to conventional wood-based products.

This innovative approach significantly reduces pressure on forests, helping conserve trees that are essential for biodiversity, climate regulation, water catchment protection, and carbon sequestration.
