The Tree Adoption Foundation (TAF) was established with the sole mandate of planting trees all over the world. As the mantra charity begins at home will have it, we as TAF have made planting trees in Kenya the starting point of our mandate. We pride ourselves in the noble aim of becoming the world’s No. 1 champion of Afforestation and Reforestation. We aim to restore and enrich the diverse ecosystem that has for years been depleted through human and wildlife activities leading to the conflict between humans and wildlife over the remaining depleted resources.
TAF’s course is championed in collaboration with schoolchildren, Soccer clubs both locally and internationally, Governments, and well-wishers. We believe it is high time the world took notice of the effects of deforestation and the diminishing forest cover. We only have one world. We have to protect it, regenerate it, keep it safe, and pass it on to the next generation of champions who will continue with what we have started today.
We teach young children in lower primary schools about the importance of afforestation and reforestation. More importantly, we show these little ones the dangerous effects of deforestation both to mankind and animal ecosystems. Through collaborations and training, with expert involvement, we endeavor to plant the right tree in the right ecosystem. The future is ours, let us regenerate it through the roots, trunks, branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits of the trees we plant today.
